Grade 5 titanium properties are that of a Chemical Composition of O Max 0.2, Al 6, Ti 90, Fe Max 0.25 and V 4. The Density of Grade 5 titanium is 4.43 g/cc (0.16 lb/in³). The Ultimate Tensile Strength of Grade 5 titanium is 1170 MPa (170000 psi). The Yield Tensile Strength of Grade 5 titanium is 1100 MPa (160000 psi). Grade 5 titanium is commonly known as Ti 6Al-4V and it is alloyed with 4% Vanadium and 6% Aluminum. Grade 5 titanium has an Elongation at Break of 10%. The Modulus of Elasticity of Grade 5 titanium is 114 GPa (16500 ksi).
